From a series of illustrations I drew a few years ago, celebrating the work of Dr. Seuss, for a friend's newborn's nursery. Pretty sure the Grinch was a test, a look-and-copy from the actual book itself. The others, some of which are pictured below, are original poses in the Dr. Seuss style, after a few weeks of studying reference materials checked out from the library:
